Serena!

I know it doesn't count and wouldn't matter at this point anyway, but damn - she's pretty good, huh?

Update

I've updated everything. Even with Bosac's run of bad luck (two BCS losses, Eagles the 6th seed) he has definitely clinched the league. I think Swank's run put him over the top. Fitting that the least consequential of sports has provided the largest margin. Upcoming odds:

BCS Championship: Alabama -3.5

Superbowl odds:

Indianapolis Colts +290
New Orleans Saints +390
San Diego Chargers +430
Minnesota Vikings +680
Dallas Cowboys +1150
New England Patriots +1275
Green Bay Packers +2100
Arizona Cardinals +2200
Philadelphia Eagles +2600
Baltimore Ravens +3200
Cincinnati Bengals +4000
New York Jets +4500

To be honest, I think the first four teams are terrible bets and the next six are great ones. Love Philly and Baltimore.

AFC: Drop Bengals, add Chargers

Not feeling the Cincy mojo at the moment.

BCS Lines

Alabama (Pat) -4.5 vs. Texas (Scallet)
TCU (Bosac) -8.5 vs. Boise St. (Pat)
Florida -11 vs. Cincinnati

Bad luck for Bosac. One of his BCS team gets the toughest possible draw and the other faces Boise, giving Pat a chance to kill two birds with one stone and get back in this thing, somewhat.

This could be it

Even if there is no more sequined hat dancing, this may be the last noteworthy weekend of the season in the UFL.

Texas and Alabama each have must-win games for their conference titles. A loss by either would essentially kill any hope Dan or Patty has of winning this league. The Longhorns and Tide would make a BCS bowl even if they lose their conferences, but Dan and Patty need the national title bonus to have a chance here. Meanwhile my Bearcats play a de facto conference title game, with a BCS berth on the line. And in case Texas loses on Saturday, there could be a very interesting debate next week about who should face the SEC champ in the title game - Cincy or TCU!

Assuming Texas and Alabama both win Saturday, the NFL games on Sunday could be big. Patty's Falcons need to beat my Eagles to stay in the playoff hunt, while Dan's Patriots need to rebound with a road win.
I m seeing bean dance with a sequined hat on. . . In his defense, amanda rice is involved.

Transactions of the week

Not gonna be complacent here. One of you dimwits is gonna have to step up if you want to win this.

Zoooooooooooone: drop Gangsters, add Swank
