Value Rundown

At Matt's request, I spent a but of time updating the value sheet while watching college football today. In practice, I finished off golf, added in Tour de France results, and the LLWS. Though I think he wanted the update for more Serena-porn, I'm going to wait until the last tournament of the season at the end of October to do tennis.

Of interest:

Tiger ended up first in golf value, but only slightly ahead of Villegas. They slot in 5th and 6th in the overall rankings. I think Villegas is the only guy to make the cut in all 7 UFL tournaments.

LLWS champion, the US West make it to 14th.

Cycling's most valuable guy, Contador, ends up in 39th. All the points are clustered in winning tours, but Bussmann's Cavendish won so many stages he almost slipped in ahead of Menchov, the winner of the Giro.

At conclusion of vt game: drop kansas, add vtech.

By the way, boy of shit and chunder, as a genetic and social jew, the things i thought about your trade bait and switch today made me feel bad about myself.
Cards game will be so much better knowing that jill campbell's gorgeous eyes are undoubtably trained on it in person.

Football preview

Not the most interesting college football weekend of the year. Most interestingly, Zig has already taken a loss as #4 Ole Miss fell to South Carolina. The two biggest games are probably Houston (Lyons) and TCU (Matt) facing their biggest challenges against major conference teams. Houston is a pick 'em and TCU is a 2.5 point dog. The two UFL matchups:

Texas Tech (Bussmann) at #17 Houston (Lyons), UTEP (Campbell) at #2 Texas (Scallet),

Southern Miss at #20 Kansas (Lyons); Washington St. at #12 USC (Brian), Notre Dame (Brian) at Purdue, Missouri (Ben) at Nevada tonight, Illinois at #13 OSU (Hermann), Fresno St. (Hermann) at #14 Cincy, #1 Florida (Campbell) at Kentucky, Colorado St at #19 BYU (Zig), Iowa at #5 Penn St. (Matt), #15 TCU (Matt) at Clemson (Matt), Louisville at Utah (Scallet), Arkansas at #3 Alabama (Pat), #8 Boise St. at Bowling Green (Pat).

UFL matchups in the NFL:

Falcons (Pat) at NE (Scallet), Jets (Bussmann) at Titans (Campbell), Dolphins (Lyons) at Chargers (Matt). There might be a couple others, but I'm not looking that closely.

Transactions, Lyons the Dwella, Football

Standings are updated.

Pat is making a big time move in football. His college and pro teams are a combined 10-0. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure everyone else has lost at least one NFL and one college game. Also, Pat's Boise State came out of last weekend looking great with BYU and Utah both losing. That likely narrows down competition for one BCS slot to Boise, TCU, and maybe Houston.

Two Lyons related pieces of news:

1. The Royals are on a tear and are out of last place, endangering his windfall from Brian.
2. Though Lyons certainly deserved dwella designation for his team's performance, I would also like to add that he left the Zone after ONE HALF to go home and TAKE A NAP. On one hand, I was impressed by his alcohol consumption, but on the other was disappointed at his being such a bitch.

In my favorite transaction of the season, I'm cutting the Fancy Lads and grabbing Graham's team.
