Updates/Belated Transactions 7/6-7/13

Standings are updated. Nothing much is going on. Bussman's Cavendish has won 2 stages in the Tour de France and I gave my Contador, Patty's LiveStrong, and "Campbell's" Leiphammer credit for winning a team stage together. My understanding of the race is that it's increasingly between my Contador and Pat's Armstrong. The two guys are on the same team and it's an open question if Armstrong is willing to step aside to assist Contador, the presumed favorite and team leader.

Coming up is the British Open next week and after that, nothing.

New Location Secured for Sloshball

Kayla really went above and beyon and scored us a field at Shaw Park. Alchohol is allowed, just no bottles, which is fine for our purposes. The bases will already be set up when we get there. the price is higher, $120, but that's Clayton for you. Hopefully we can each throw her some money in the next week or so to defray that cost. The field is either 5 or 6, she'll know when she get the contract

Paddy Gets His Wish--We Won't have the same Sloshball field as last time..

"I will not be able to get a permit before Monday. I do suggest that we secure a real baseball diamond with plenty of room in the outfield for me to lay into a Ziegfried ephus pitch, or ZEP for short. Lyons, I am sure that you will be able to get a permit somewhere in Tower Grove on Monday. Agains, lets not get stuck on the same field as last year. Go Baseball!"

Well, we won't be stuck with that shitty field, because Kayla just called to tell me that Tower Grove called her back today to say that all the fields are booked for the 18th. I know you are all TERRIBLY busy with your important lives, but if you could take a moment to reflect of what parks will let us have a keg that would be great.
