  1. For some reason, Tiger isn't listed on there.

  2. Who is this Camilo Villegas guy who is at -5 after 10 holes? Did anyone draft him? I did, you say? What am I, some sort of genius? Wait, -5 is better than + 5 right? Otherwise, Bussman is crushing me with R. Sabbatini.

  3. Camero is just out to a fast start. Keep your eye on young Webb Simpson...he's playing in the last group just so I can see the back nine after I slip out of work.

  4. Lyons what's the golf cut for today.... top 30?

  5. All I know is that Webb Simpson uses a Titleist. Who cares how much under par he shoots, or his share of the prize money, or whether Lyons actually scores some points?

    Get you some Camillo!

  6. I'm pretty sure the cut is always the top 70 after Friday. But my golf knowledge is limited.

  7. Sorry Zig, can't drop or add a golfer until the last putt is sunk on Sunday.

The cut in golf is never exact. I don't understand it completely, but it is after the second day (friday). The cut is always a score, not a certain number of players. I don't know the formula, but it has to do with an aggregate of, or formula based on, the scores from the first 2 rounds. I know that sometimes a guy will save par on the 18th in the second round and 20 guys will be pissed at him because it fucks up the cut and makes it a lot smaller. So, yeah...Friday.

  8. I'm pretty sure that it just appears to be an aggregate since way more than 70 players always make it due to players being tied.

  9. Regardless, the point is that the number is never exact as far as how many players will make it. although, the cut line is always defined as a certain score and NOT a certain place in the standings, so you are wrong...and suck at handicapping basketball.

  10. I may suck at handicapping basketball, but the score itself is determined by whatever the 70th place guy shoots. They always want ~70 guys playing the final two rounds.

  11. So you are now sacking up and saying definitively, "Top 70 guys make the cut, unless there is a tie for 70th"? Good. That I can fact check.

  12. I will note, also, that your stubbornness has caused me to do that which I least wanted to do, which was to waste 3 minutes of my life to confirm that I am, in fact, correct. Having done so, I see that, as I suspected, I was right and there is no mysterious algorithm governing everything; it is just whatever the top 70 guys, including ties, shoot. So you can all go to hell (especially Lyons).

  13. Took me 4 seconds on google. Here is the official rule. The short answer is that the first cut marker is 70, but it reverts to score if more than 78 qualify, which can result in less than 70 making the cut. here is the link:

  14. I believe that's outdated:

Incidentally, I hate sports since I have 5 game losing streaks both in the UFL and espn.com's Streak for the Cash thing. I would have thought that neither was possible.
