One day of the tournament has ended and, as one might expect, the BCS teams did very well and the non-BCS teams got killed, with only Patty's Memphis team surviving. Some of the bigger guns are going today like Utah and Xavier, so their collective record should turn around a bit.
As an aside, Brian, you forgot to fill out a champion in your bracket. Throw it in the comments here before round 2 and we'll just add it up ourselves.
Also, the Champions League announced the matchups for the next round, which begin April 7th. The co-favorites ManU (Lyons) and Barcelona (Matt) drew relatively weak opponents in FC Porto and Bayern Munich (Brian), though Munich has had success against Barcelona in the past. Arsenal (Ben) also got lucky by getting to face Villareal. Liverpool (Pat) and Chelsea ("Campbell") will face off in the most even matchup of the round. As in the last set of matchups, these rounds will consist of two games between the same teams.
