Interminable bet update; Game 7

If you have this blog set to email you comments, you no doubt remember Lyons and Brian having a never-ending negotiation on a bet that pays Lyons if the Royals finish in last place. At the time, the Royals were 20-18 and a game behind the first place Tigers. Well, since then they've gone 4-15 and have indeed ended up in last place. Way to go Lyons on your terrible squad!

Also, we're looking at game 7 in the Stanley Cup playoffs on Friday (yes, inexplicably that long a wait). A Red Wings win and Ziggy gets 52 points to move into 5th place. If Matt and the Penguins win, he'll finally get past Patty and open up a 50 point lead, one that won't be threatened at least until the LLWS in August and probably not until October.

  1. I might watch the 3rd period of Game 7..... IF......The Bo-Sac bets me 10 UFL points. I'll take the RedWings.
