Pat is making a big time move in football. His college and pro teams are a combined 10-0. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure everyone else has lost at least one NFL and one college game. Also, Pat's Boise State came out of last weekend looking great with BYU and Utah both losing. That likely narrows down competition for one BCS slot to Boise, TCU, and maybe Houston.
Two Lyons related pieces of news:
1. The Royals are on a tear and are out of last place, endangering his windfall from Brian.
2. Though Lyons certainly deserved dwella designation for his team's performance, I would also like to add that he left the Zone after ONE HALF to go home and TAKE A NAP. On one hand, I was impressed by his alcohol consumption, but on the other was disappointed at his being such a bitch.
In my favorite transaction of the season, I'm cutting the Fancy Lads and grabbing Graham's team.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, can't say I'm sweating here. Patty's 'big time move' has brought him nearly within 150 points in the standings. He won't be gaining in baseball, and might fall further behind if the Yankees win a round or two in the playoffs.
Bean crashed and burned by managing to lose twice with highly ranked football teams from Oklahoma, but maybe he could creep back into it if the Angels make a World Series run and his NFL teams play well. Still a tall order.
Nobody else has a chance. Seriously, if one of the other scrub teams wins this, you can expect me to throw a hissy-fit that would make Serena proud.
