In last night's big game, the USA's 9th inning comeback over Puerto Rico pushed Lyons past Patty and gives him an opening to catch up. If the US wins the entire WBC, Lyons will pull within 10 points of the leader. In last night's other game, my Korea edged out Brian's Japan to make the semis, meaning Ziggy's Cuba will battle Japan tonight for the last slot and the chance at a sizable number of points.
In other news, Patty got a key win from the Cavs, gaining more ground as the Celtics and the Lakers both fell. Also, UFL hockey teams ran roughshod over the rest of the league, racking up wins for 6 teams.
