please correct the spelling of my team name
Lyons, you mistakenly placed an "L" in my team name. I'm sure this was a mere typo on your part and I ask that you correct the mistake. However, I'm sure my request to correct the spelling will be ignored. Do you enjoy pleasing the johnson heater? Just think about how happy that incorrect spelling will make johnson the next time you are cruising in the rolla'

I will change the name...however, you can not be Founder in this league. You have founded nothing in this land of the UFL. So, its Flounder, or something new. Might a suggest some variation on "Ingersoll Rand" (much larger international corporation that competes directly with Johnson Heater's prized HVAC division...and also rejected my web application for an in-house counsel position in a record 16 hours flat.)

another scoring question. maybe this was already covered and i missed it, but how does the scoring work for seasons currently in progress like NBA and NHL? do we score points from draft day until the 09' season ends and have the same team when the sport resumes?

ReplyDeleteSeasons already in progress begin accumulating points as soon as the draft ends tomorrow. Therefore, you only get points for future performance. For sports that are currently going (NBA, CB, NHL, UEFA) those units close at the end of the current season and do not reopen when their next season starts. The Super bowl 2010 is the last scoring event of our season. Obviously, you are drafting NFL teams for NEXT SEASON, not this one. I tried to account for this in the scoring system: an NBA win is worth 2 points, but a MLB win is worth .5 (about 40 NBA games left vs. full Mlb season.)
Golf: I haven't decided exactly which events to include, but there will be three non-majors in golf and women's tennis t/b/a.
It's impressive that you are getting ideas from this paragraph as well as from our argument made at this time.
